Golf Trips

If you’re reading this, you’re probably a big golf fan. Most likely you’ve already taken a trip with the boys or the girls and focused on playing some different courses in different states, but if you haven’t…then let this be your sign to book that trip! Whether you typically like to hit the bars on the weekend with the guys or prefer to stay in and read books or watch movies on a Saturday night, a golf trip is the absolute best weekend plan for you.

Why stay in home in a town you live, spend your money at places you go to all the time, when you can find a cheap flight, book a hotel, and play some brand new courses? Planning a big vacation to Europe might take time and a well thought out process, but not so much if you jump on a plane for a quick domestic flight.

Pick the city you want, hop online and find the golf courses you want to play. A quick google search will give you all the information you want, if you are looking to golf in Dallas, then just search best public golf courses in Dallas Texas and boom! Look at customer reviews, find a hotel that is more or less central to the courses you want to play, and either rent a car or use Uber. You’d be surprised how relatively cheap these trips are if you pick the right week and month of the year. And a little tip, Southwest offers a free bag! So you can ship your clubs for free, bring a carry on and you are good to go.

If you really want to enjoy the golf, you don’t need to go to clubs at night, you can find some nice restaurants, enjoy the company of whoever you go with, and maybe even grab an early tee time to avoid the heat if its in the summer. Personally, I’d rather take it easy for a few weeks, then use that money I didn’t spend on getting away for a quick Friday-Sunday trip, hit the links, and create those memories!
